'BEACH' is an album from a solo acoustic trumpet subscription on Bandcamp by Norwich-based trumpeter Chris Dowding.

Each month, a solo trumpet track will be added, with each piece named after a beach in Norfolk. The first track is a solo version of the piece 'Esbjorn's Song', an elegy for the Swedish pianist Esbjorn Svensson, who sadly died in a diving accident in 2008.

There will be performances throughout the year, perhaps including site specific performances. For more details see: www.chris-dowding.co.uk . I hope you enjoy the project.

I am a trumpeter and workshop leader based in Norwich.

I have performed around the UK with Natural Causes, Rude 2.0 and I lead the Moonrise Trio. I have been commissioned by Durham Brass Festival and Norfolk and Norwich Festival.

I have led workshops with Spitalfields Music, Dartington and Musical Keys.
